One of my favorite places...
I want to share with you one
of my favorite spots to visit on the web
called design*sponge. This is a site which
originated as a blog. The woman who started
the site is named Grace. You can find out
more about her and the site right
here. I find it's a great way
to keep posted on new and revived ideas in
the amazingly large universe of design. The
site has posts about DIY projects (do it
yourself), furniture that you can buy, wall
coverings, crafts, artwork, stationary,
jewelry, etc. I subscribe to her RSS feed so
that her posts will automatically get sent
to me - that's how great I think they are!

This is Cecily and I am the owner and principal
designer of N-Spaces, just in case you're
wondering who is writing this particular
section. If there is anything that you'd like
me to discuss design-wise in this section,
please feel free to drop me an email
here.
New website launched!
Welcome to the new N-Spaces
website! We are glad that you've stopped
by the site. My name is Cecily and I am
the owner and principal designer of N-Spaces,
just in case you're wondering who is writing
this particular section. I will be making posts
often and hope that you find them interesting
and useful. Occasionally, I will have a guest
entries posted as well. If there is anything
that you'd like me to discuss design-wise in
this section, please feel free to drop me an
email here.
There are a lot of new photos on the site which
are of an office just recently completed in the
Highlands of Denver. The space is
called Vida Chiropractic
Studio. It's owned by a great
doctor named Scott Evans. He is
originally from Michigan, but ventured out
to beautiful Colorado to open a practice in
the Highlands. You can check out a press
release that we did for his opening
here.
The Links section will be updated on
a regular basis, but the initial list is
definitely worth checking out. These
are some great green design websites.
You can sign up to get regular updates
from them as well.
I've recently ordered a new book that should be
arriving any day now. It's called
Design Like You Give A
Damn. There's another book that
was suggested to me also which is
called World Changing: A Guide Book
to the 21st Century. I'm ordering these for
continuing research on green design as the
field is changing so rapidly.
